| Richfield is nestled between two mountain ranges over which I-70 passes. From the top of the passes, eastbound folks descend from 7,000+ feet; westbound folks descend from almost 8,000 feet. Surrounded by 11,000+ high peaks, you might think this is a great destination for recreation - and you would be absolutely correct!. You are in the middle of Fishlake National Forest where you can (depending on the season) hunt, fish, mountain bike, snowmobile and, of course, camp in one of the many nice campgrounds. |
