| Short cut but gravel
road: Head south on the county road 223 and follow it for about 2 miles to the park. There are some right angle turns (like Iowa) but there are signs. At the 3rd right angle turn (you'll be turning to the east) you will be on CR-220 briefly. You will turn south 500 feet later and now you will be on CR-221. Just follow the well traveled roadways. Long way (missing most of the gravel): from the south side of I-70, turn right on the frontage road (Road HH) and follow it 1.3 miles to the intersection where it turns south. Now continue south on Road HH, around a couple sweeping curves to CRRR-221. Turn left and the park is about 1000 feet ahead. This is about twice the distance but better roads. |
