Unless DOWNTOWN St Louis is your destination we strongly recommend skirting the downtown area using I-270 Eastbound: use exit 232 or exit 224 taking the MO-370 Freeway to I-270 (much less traffic) Westbound: go straight at Illinois I-70 exit 15. Then follow I-270 around the north side of St Louis to either exit 22 (MO-370 Freeway) which will take you - and ends - at I-70 or go on to exit 20-A (I-70 west). |

I-70 and Missouri |

Missouri, the
'Show Me' state also would like to show you! Here the Great Plains becomes
the rolling midwest. The agriculture is as varied as the industries and
there seems to be plenty of both. I-70 connects Missouri's two major cities: Kansas City and Saint Louis. It is a great highway with plenty of nice places to stop and take a break. |
Columbia - about in the center of Missouri - should be especially
interesting to most people. We have also especially enjoyed Saint Louis. contributed by Bob Masters |
