| Westbound:
Turn right onto US-40/59 after paying your toll and go straight north (highways signs say you are going east and you will). in 0.5 miles, US-40 turns off to the right and you will now
be on US-24. Follow US-24 'east' for 21 miles to KOA Rd in Grantville. Turn right and go (north) about 1.3 miles to the campground. This is a nice campground and, if you turn right when you exit KOA RD after leaving the campground in the morning, you can follow US-24 to the US-75 freeway, then head south on the freeway back to I-70 missing the Topeka traffic and avoiding another Turnpike toll. We call this the North Topeka-Lawrence Bypass. :-) Eastbound: Please see the directions on our Topeka page. |
